ABOUT
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
COFM is a faith-based emergency shelter program that serves those experiencing homelessness in the Greater Williamsburg community during the coldest months of the year.
We work in conjunction with congregations to offer weekly shelter and nourishment to those facing homelessness, typically from mid-November to mid-March. Guests are welcomed, provided with meals, and treated with dignity and respect. The program operates for up to 18 weeks, accommodating up to 25 guests per night.

Local churches provide a warm and safe place for guests to spend the night.
COFM was established in 2012 to address the urgent need for assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Williamsburg area. The strength of our organization lies in the unwavering dedication of our diverse volunteer community, supported by an equally committed and diverse board of directors.
“It has warmed my heart to be a part of this vitally important outreach for our homeless community.
I cannot wait to volunteer again next year. May God bless them and keep them all safe the rest of this winter season.”
– Linda Upshaw
