our mission statement

COFM is a faith-based emergency program that serves those experiencing homelessness in the Greater Williamsburg community during the coldest months of the year.

HMIS & YOUR PRIVACY AS A GUEST: The Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) was developed to meet a data collection requirement made by the United States Congress and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). We collect statistical information on those who use our services and report this information to a central data collection system. Maintaining the privacy and safety of those using our services is very important to us. Information gathered about you is personal and private. We collect information only as required by law or funders, when appropriate to provide services, or manage our organization. You may choose to not have your information shared.

Our Motto:

“For I was hungry,
and you fed me.
I was thirsty, and
you gave me drink.
I was a stranger and
